GOD is TRUTH!

This is the quality of being in accordance with verified experience, facts, reality; conformity with fact. Truth is reliable and not false. Truth is more than words. Don't tell me something is true: show me!

The meaning of Truth can be demonstrated visually using one white rectangle "A" with an exact replica "B" placed alongside, or on top of "A". Shape "A" is in every way as compared to Shape "B", constant, reliable, certain with reality, agrees with, conforms to, etc. There is no difference. In the field of mathematics, an "equal" sign as in the two figures placed alongside, is used in a TRUE statement.

Biblically speaking, Truth "A" is what God says he will do, which matches up in totality with "B" which is what He actually does, as revealed in the Scriptures as well as in time and experience. He is reliable because in all instances He has performed exactly as He said previously that He would perform. Jesus, the one and only Son of GOD lived out for all to see the truth of God's promises which were given in the Old Testament. God keeps His Word.

• Exodus 3:14 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." (KJV) ("I am", doubled in Hebrew, means perfect existing one.)
• Isaiah 46:8-10 "Remember this, you sinners; consider what I have done. Remember what happened long ago; acknowledge that I alone am God and that there is no one like me. From the beginning I predicted the outcome; long ago I foretold what would happen. I said that my plans would never fail, that I would do everything I intended to do." (TEV)
• John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (KJV)
• John 14:6 "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (KJV)
• I John 5:20 "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." (KJV)
