He still asks for those with a willing heart...

Some 3700 years ago God initiated a building project and got everyone involved who wanted to participate. He was going to build a Tabernacle, a portable building, where He could meet with His people out of the desert sun.
He asked those who were of a willing heart if they would contribute to
the building of His portable building. Not because He was poor or homeless
but
because He just wanted to give the opportunity for everyone to participate
in outfitting this “special” building. It was the first of its
kind in the world. It was that special oasis where man could meet with and
worship God in the desert of life’s travels.
The account reads that every morning folks showed up at the construction site voluntarily bringing more and more and more gifts. Until FINALLY, the workmen came to Moses and said, ‘You h-a-v-e to ask for folks to stop bringing materials. We have too much…much more than we need!’
Today God has improved on his portable building design and He is in mass
production. He has set up manufacturing sites all over the world. Why?
Because He loves
to meet with folks where ever they may be found. This time He is building
His portable dwelling place virtually within the hearts of those who
respond to
His invitation to meet with Him through the cleansing blood of Jesus
Christ His son.
The place that He builds his meeting place has changed. The number of meeting places has multiplied. He has even put a special online conferencing system in each outpost so that everyone can meet with Him individually all at the same time as they read His Word and pray…
… But He has not changed the concept of how He funds His building campaign. He still asks for those with a willing heart to contribute to outfitting His Tabernacles in the hearts of people.
You have been praying for Suzanne and I as we are involved as your
co-laborers in God’s building plan. Your offerings of prayer
are the currency of investment in Eternal things. Would you pray now
with us for those with
willing
hearts to bring materials that we need to go back to the field this
Summer?
We have both one time cash needs and additional monthly needs to
continue on this building program of Tabernacles in the hearts
of Russian speaking
men,
women, boys and girls. As you give, remember... Not because
He is poor or homeless but because He just wants to give you the
opportunity
to
participate in outfitting
His “special” building.

Merinda has already decided that she is a 2 per-cent-er – so it’s a good thing we have a picture of this - our one and only football game. If you know Aggie traditions – you know that this was the only time those in the student section (& us) were able to sit down for the entire game – even in 100 degree heat!
We continue to praise God for gifts from uncle, grandparents and great grandparent and Merinda’s hard work through high school, that have made attending a university possible. Thank you for praying us through this year of adjustment for her – she’s thoroughly enjoying the Int’l Christian fellowship on campus and looking forward to a Medical Missions trip on Spring Break.
