We stayed in 20 man/ women segregated tents with piped in AC/Heating from central units. And lots of clean portapotties. They had accommodations for 200+ volunteers and probably another 200 if you brought your own tent.
The work backlog is created by signups by residents from the local communities of Ocean Springs and Pascagoula MS who desire help. Two hundred of the 500 homes on the list to date have been cleaned to the studs and demolded. We got our hand on doing 2 of these. :o) The folks who facilitate the work camp say that soon they will start diverting the work crews to sheetrocking the homes that have already been cleaned. So there is still plenty of opportunity if you are looking for a long weekend to remember.
