Multilanguage Gesture Repository -

This repository will contain gestures from every sign language. The lexicon is designed based on meanings, rather than words, to facilitate storing and retrieval of other languages. English is used as an index (lexiconal link) between the other languages. We have made a place to store other relavent data related to the sign e.g. Video of the sign. This may be useful in cases where a volunteer wants to help to make a 3D sign with the Sign Editor but does not have the knowledge of what the sign should like. They can use this clip as their model. It may also be useful to store an MP3 audio file of the word being spoken by a native speaker. This will be useful for those using the lexicon to learn a foreign language. Or possibly it can be used to feed to MicroSoft Media player so a non-hearing person can see a fractal representation of what the voiced word looks like.
